The Aroma Therapipe is not a toy. Don't let your children play with it. It won't harm them, but they may put something into the pipe and mess it up.
Store your saltpipes in a dry place; we do not recommend storing in the kitchen or bathroom. Pick a cool, dry place if possible. A small exposure to humidity will not harm the salt pipe.
Please do not use if the container is cracked or chipped.
Your Therapipe should last for 5 years with normal use. If you are in doubt of the effectiveness of your older Therapipe, they are inexpensive enough to order a new one.
How To Use
The THERAPIPE Salt Pipe
The Therapipe is so easy to use:
- Gently shake the salt pipe
- Place the Salt Pipe in your mouth
- Inhale normally (don't force it)
- Exhale through your nose.
Exhaling through your nose makes sure your sinuses get all the Speleotherapy benefits.
You may experience a slight after-taste of salt the first couple of times you use your inhaler - this is normal. Remember, the Therapipe has all natural ingredients (See the composition HERE) and the ingredients are beneficial. The slight salty taste should dissipate after a few uses.
When you first start using the Therapipe Salt Pipe, we recommend 20 minutes a day. You can do this all at once or split it into 2 sessions: say 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes at night.
For long-term therapy, we recommend following this pattern for at least 21 days. You cannot use a salt inhaler too much, so you may use it more frequently if you desire.
After a few days most users feel their symptoms dissipate and so decrease the frequency of use.
We recommend only one person per pipe, for sanitary reasons (you don't share tooth brushes, do you?). We color-coded our inhaler in case more than one family member are using them.
Please do not remove the rubber valve on the top of the pipe. This is in place to encourage you to breathe out through your nose.
